I'm
amy keating.
I do user interface design.
I have always been passionate about design, visual balance, and composition. I love to combine bold color with neutral messaging, or vice versa.
Up until recently, I had been working in software development for over ten years in a quality assurance capacity. Like many folks during the pandemic, I started to consider a career change, and began to reflect on my design and art background.
I enrolled in Google's Coursera UX/UI courses and completed seven certificates over the course of a year. I can't wait to begin my journey in software development as a professional designer.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
maker of things by hand
I've always got at least three different projects going. I really love to keep busy and create things with my hands.
On the side I run a small company called keep on puppin'. You might find me selling dog and cat accessories that I have made at various vending and small market events. You can see that work here:
I also paint, do small murals, amateur wood working, and have done a lot of home renovation over the past 15 years.
